The brand quiz was a powerful reminder that it’s not what we do before we start work that creates our brand, it’s what we do day in and day out, every single day, what we *are*, that makes it possible to identify ‘humanitarian rockstar’ or ‘football’s bad boys’ so quickly (I’m a musician, but couldn’t care less about sports, but I still got ‘em both!)
I’m still looking for a short phrase (in English) that means “wild-eyed crazy self-discovery mentor” but I’m also still in the process of peeling back the layers to see who’s underneath, so maybe that’ll change, eh?
My wife and I also give away free reports, with ‘free’ meaning no cost, not even an email address. I highly respect the generosity and fearlessness it takes to do this.
Thanks, Debbie!
Glad you enjoyed it Joel. And, thanks for sharing your comments. Have fun peeling back the layers and good luck coining YOUR phrase!
Hi Debbie,
Thanks for the free report! I loved the quiz. Great information and now I have something to ponder about over the weekend.
Thank you, Debbie!
Debbie,
I could read the first few pages over and over, but it wasn’t until after reading the ‘Brand Quiz’ that it really clicked.
On the verge of entering a new field and becoming an entrepreneur starting my own personal business, it can be very confusing knowing where to begin.
Thanks for the guidance.
Rebecca
Michi – I’m glad I gave you something to think about! That’s always my goal, to get you to look at things differently.
Rebecca – I’m glad the quiz made it click for you. Isn’t it amazing that these people and businesses can be so easily described in just one, or a few words? And yes, it can be confusing knowing where to begin when you’re just starting out. If I can help, please don’t hesitate to let me know. I’ve been around the business block a few times (8x to be exact!)
Debbie :-)
great info this is something that i have been pushing for here at ideal as well in my high school mentoring classes and at our fed prison ministry programs my favorite saying is wouldn’t life be boring if we were all alike along withthe saying that in the world of pre gps dont ever forget where you came from good or bad because this is what makes you who you are and if you don’t remember where you came from and the journey along the way and you get lost and cant find your way back to the starting line where are you going to end up at life is a never ending learning experiance keep up the good work i really enjoy this type of messages jim
Thanks for taking the time to share Jim!
I have been looking and asking around for this and I will definitely check it out. I just downloaded it and will read later, thanks!
Hi Debbie, may I say that you are beutiful and kind and that I love you for that. I really was in a situation where I did not know how to move forward. Your articles brought clearance in my mind – not only from a business point of view but also on life itself. Thanks a lot and keep up the good work. Kind regards,Carl de Beer.
Thanks awesome Carl, I’m so glad you are finding clarity! Thanks for taking the time to share. I really appreciate it.
Debbie
Hi I found out about you today via Scout Wilkins. Perfect timing because I write a monthly column called The Business of Show Biz for Theatre Bay Area Magazine and I am currently working on a column about Branding. For us actors it’s challenging enough to get clear about our “type”. Now there’s all this talk about “branding”. I aim to get clarity for myself and share what I’m learning with our readers about how this concept applies to actors.Thank you for sharing what you’ve learned. I haven’t read all the materials you’ve shared yet but I will.
Best, Velina
Velina,
Thanks for taking the time to post a comment and I’m so glad you “found” me and this info in such perfect timing! Feel free to share my materials with your audience if you are so inclined. They will stay posted right here on this page and can be accessed via the link: http://www.RedefiningBranding.com
All my best!
Debbie
