What’s in a name? In business, a lot!
It’s how your clients find you.
It’s what your business stands for.
It’s how you set yourself apart from everyone else who does what you do.
So when you come up with that unique brand name that perfectly sums up what you and your business are all about, you want to make sure you protect it so someone else can’t come along and start using it.
After all, one of the reasons a brand name is so powerful is the fact that it’s unique.
And if others are using it, it’s no longer unique.
It can also cause confusion in the marketplace if more than one business is using the same name.
And you could be spending your marketing time and money sending potential clients to someone else’s business. As an independent coach or consultant I’m guessing your marketing budget is limited. The last thing you want, or can afford to do, is waste your valuable marketing dollars.
