What Are Typical Hard Costs For Coaching or Consulting Businesses?

The Business Stylist® Podcast Episode 134

This podcast and video are part of my ongoing Question and Answer series where I’m answering  questions I receive from independent coaches and consultants.

Independent coaches and consultants should always do a financial viability test when setting up their business. That way they know they can be profitable with the services they plan to offer. And they know they can get to their financial goals working the number of hours they want to work.

The best time to discover your business math doesn’t work is BEFORE you open for business.

The last thing you want to discover is that you can’t get to your financial goals unless you’re working 80 hours a week, or even worse, ever!

To do a financial viability test on your services (not on your entire business) you need to not only price your services and project your income, you need to identify any hard costs associated with delivering your services.

Often clients ask me what types of hard costs this might include.

In this video & podcast I answer this question.
