Most marketers talk about competition. The fact that you need to know who you competitors are and what they’re doing, so you don’t get swallowed up. I used to teach the concept of competition… researching it, tracking it… focusing on it. But I no longer do. In fact, as someone who has been in the marketing field for nearly 30 years, and operating her own successful business for 15 years, I now recommend you pretty much ignore your competition. In this episode I share why that is, and why focusing on your competition can hurt your business and actually hold you back from success.
