Following Inspiration into the New Year

It’s been awhile since I’ve posted here. As happens when on the inspired path, sometimes you have to be patient and wait for direction. I always know I’m pushing (instead of allowing) when I’m trying too hard to make a decision about what to do next.

When you’re inspired you just KNOW what to do.

Well, last month I finally KNEW.

After spending time with family, and then getting sick, I was finally ready to get moving again in my business. As a side note, it was actually a blessing getting sick (really!) because it gave me some downtime to just be and catch up on several books and online courses I’d been meaning to get to for months. And all of this contributed to me getting clear about what to do next.

I tell you, I’m learning to trust EVERYTHING that happens.

Life really is quite magical when you allow it to run its course and you’re willing to play along.

I’ve spent the past few weeks updating my website, writing a new ebook, developing a course outline, and watching all the pieces of the puzzle begin to fall into place. And I’m talking about a puzzle that’s been 10 years in the making!

I still have much more to do, but I wanted to loop you in.

I’ll also be sharing a few more updates over the coming weeks.

I realize for some of you who’ve been following me for awhile, you may or may not be connecting the dots between my marketing consulting business and my new focus on Living Inspired.

Trust me, I was having trouble connecting them myself for quite some time. They felt like such disparate ideas. At the same time, I still believe in everything I’ve coached, consulted, and taught over the past 20 years.

The connection is now clear to me.

But it took me stepping back and reflecting on where I’ve been to truly see it.

So over the coming weeks I’ll be sharing bits of it with you. To help you connect the dots as well. And so you can see where we’re headed.

I’m excited about the new year.

I have some great things planned. And I’m sure the Universe will throw a few wrenches (uh, I mean inspired ideas!) into those plans as well.

I look forward to spending time with you on the inspired path in 2018. And to the exciting places it will lead us.

P.S. If you read my blog post from a few months ago about my scariest, most exciting inspired idea yet, I’m happy to report after spending a week in North Carolina in October, we’re heading back this weekend to spend another 10 days there. We’re continuing to follow inspiration (all the way across the country apparently!) to see where it leads us. So stay tuned!
