When I help my clients brand themselves I ask them to look at who they are and what they do for their clients. I ask them to think about what makes them and their services unique and different.

Most independent coaches and consultants can come up with a list of what they do for their clients. But many have a hard time boiling that long list down into a single, focused idea they can brand.

For a brand to be memorable and effective it needs to stand for something.

And that something should be a clear, singular idea.
