Resilience and Sailing Through Fear [Video]

Living Inspired Interview, Featuring Trudy Van Buskirk.

Trudy Van Buskirk has been a school teacher, a special ed teacher, and she’s been self employed since 1980.

She co-owned one of the first Apple computer dealerships in Toronto, sold minicomputers to law firms, and co-created and co-ran a conference and trade show company based in San Francisco. She has spoken at conferences, and consulted, coached, and trained countless start up business owners.

A debilitating stroke.

In 2005, Trudy suffered a debilitating ataxic stroke that left her with many disabilities. But she hasn’t let that stop her.

In this inspiring interview, Trudy shares her story. She talks about how she lives inspired—which she defines as living each day as it comes—and exhibits such resilience and a sense of humor it makes it impossible not to admire her.

Sailing through fear.

Trudy shares a sailing story that taught her the true meaning of “feel the fear and do it anyway.”

She also shares her advice for the best way to live an inspired life, along with the attitude that has kept her working as a small business mentor despite her disabilities.

She’s known as The Comeback Queen and you’ll understand why after watching this interview.

I invite you to watch, learn, and be inspired!
